Part 2, Strategy level 165. Take out all of the Bubbles under the upcoming infections before unlocking the ghost chain.

clear out the Bombs, either from the right to the left or vice verse. You’ll need to do some tricky bankshots to succeed taking all Bombs down, but here as in every other level practice will make you master the level.

When you have dropped the Bombs, you want to take out as much of the bubbles attached to the ghost lock chain before unlocking the lock Bubbles.

After you have unlocked the locks, you want to get to hit the Mystery Bubbles, as this is the final stage of a successful 3-Star game.

Strategy Picture 3 for level 165; take your chances with the Mystery Bubbles to gain green spiders! :)

You want to hit the Mystery Bubbles when you have blue spiders as they then will turn into green spiders to drop the ceiling on.

Here you can watch two examples on how to recreate the tips from this manual. Good Luck going for 3 Stars on level 165! :D

  1. I have been working at Bubble Witch Saga on Facebook for 4 weeks now with no luck. I have watched your videos and others. I never get balls that clear either side before the bomb goes off. I have tried using rainbow balls, but it seems like when I have them the combinations are deliberately worse. Is it possible to get through this level without buying magic potions? I have made it this far without purchasing anything.

    • The magic Potions are free items that you use the in game coins for. And yes, many of my friends have managed to pass this level without the Charms, so you can do it too! :)

  2. Thanks for the advice!!! I just got through it without any extras. I have been working on this for a week and after checking this blog out, it took about a dozen tries. You do have to go up one side but if the balls aren’t good, you won’t make it. But eventually I did. I also did get rid of most of the bubbles before opening the upper half and then I was able to get 2 stars. I don’t like to pay for anything so I was happy this worked. Keep trying!

  3. Level 165 can be beat! I just did! Just take your time at first picking thru the bombs. Try to pick ones that will only require one or two more shots/colors to drop off. I got lucky at the top with only a few bubbles left so i gambled and hit one of the mystery bubbles and it gave me just the last color i needed to drop off a 8 ball chain off the top.

  4. I got through the first 150 levels of Bubble Witch on an iPhone without using up any coins so I think I’m at least an averagely good player, but level 165 is ridiculous. I’ve never got even halfway through the first part in 100 attempts. The videos are useless because the people who make them have spent a fortune on charms. Either prove it can be done without them or update the game with an easier level 165

  5. I take back what I said before. I just passed level 165! No potions or charms. Only one star but that’s ok. The bombs are held to the locked row by only 5 or 6 bubbles so once you get through the first part, it gets easier :-)

  6. At least I feel a little more validated in my frustration after reading all these comments. :) I haven’t gotten through this level yet but so far each time I try I clear as much as I can, a bomb starts counting, and then it seems I get 8-9 of the same color bubbles. It gets ridiculous after a while. It’s not simply the difficulty of the level itself, it seems to me, the issue with level 165 (although I’ve found this on some other tricky levels as well and it’s been equally frustrating on those) is the game ups the difficulty by actually purposefully DE-randomizing the bubbles so that the player gets nothing but a single color or every color except the only color they have a shot for (I have had several times where the only bubble I can use is, say, red, and I will get all three other colors over and over and over until I deplete my cauldron to the point that I can’t possibly clear the board). Can’t wait til I get through this one and good job to those who’ve made it!

  7. I watched your video (the first one) and noticed two unusual things…..first off, the bubbles are not configured anything like the way I get them, and secondly, a bomb is “armed” and doesn’ t go off after 9 shots……..how can you do this?
